Treeway Summer Challenge
Treeway believes in the potential of young talent and therefore we have invested time and energy in organizing the Treeway Summer Challenge. This initiative gives students the opportunity to grow, develop and with their knowledge contribute to the search for a solution for the deadly Motor Neuron Disease ALS. We will keep you updated on developments regarding the challenge and hope you will apply for the next Treeway Summer Challenge!
This international study trip is an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for talented master/PhD students and postdocs. Leading foreign cities and countries are chosen based on delivering an opportune and real-life learning experience for you. During the challenge you will have the opportunity to visit the US (Boston, New York) and The Netherlands. You will meet academic health professionals and senior business executives in multiple companies that will inspire and support you to meet our goal!

Jan Schlender – Participant Treeway Summer Challenge 2015-. PhD student in Physiologically-Based Pharmacokinetic Modeling in Special Populations…
“This unique challenge illustrated entrepreneurial spirit in the pharmaceutical world. Furthermore, I enjoyed the insights of the drug development process in smaller biotech companies. With this challenge, new time consuming approaches such as a physiological disease model were developed for the ALS drug development, which are normally applied in more social disease. Out-of-the-box thinking by young, non-ALS scientists created innovative ideas to slow down the disease progression and encourage further research”.
